What it is?

Sea Moss, scientifically known as Eucheuma Cottonii, is a nutrient-dense sea vegetable packed with vitamins and minerals. It has 92 of the 102 minerals that our bodies need, such as potassium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, calcium, bromine, iodine, selenium, and magnesium.

Where does it come from?

Our Golden Sea Moss is sustainably harvested from the waters off remote Saint Lucia Island, a beautiful place free from pollution or heavy transportation that is also home to two dormant volcanoes (known as the 'Pitons') that supply the ocean with a rich mix of minerals due to water runoff.

How is it processed?

The sea moss processing is simple: it is collected manually, cleaned, dried in the sun, and bagged.

Benefits:

  • Immunity Support
  • High mineral content
  • Improves energy levels
  • It can help in weight loss
  • Can improve mental/emotional health
  • nourishes the skin
  • Supports the digestive system
  • Thyroid Support
  • Excellent for sexual health
  • Improves joint health

How to prepare it?

  1. Clean the sea moss with purified water until the sea salts are removed.
  2. Soak in purified water between 6 and 12 hours. (Until smooth and gooey. This step can be done at room temperature.)
  3. Drain the water and pour the gel into the blender.
  4. Once in the blender, for each cup of seaweed add 2 cups of purified water.
  5. Blend for 3-5 minutes until smooth.
  6. Transfer contents to an airtight, quality-sealed container. Refrigerate or freeze immediately after blending.
  7. After preparation, the gel will last up to 4 weeks in the fridge.
  8. Once the gel is ready, it can be used by adding a tablespoon in shakes, natural water, tea, gelatin, as a salad dressing, etc.
